![]() The hairdresser I sometimes frequent says she always gets scabs after every dye job (she dyes her hair blonde) but she still continues to do so and then when I mention henna says how henna is really, really bad. It was pretty red for a few days and my scalp was itchy and irritated. Las time I dyed my hair, I got some sort of a reaction - red ears and skin on my forehead close to my scalp. I would have sue them if I was in your place. Her heart stopped beating when she taste some vinegar.īut no matter if you eat or just touch something, allergy is allergy and sometimes you don't even have time to react properly to an allergic shock. What would have happened if this was an allergic shock? A friend of mine had once a heart attack from an allergy reactions to vinegar. I can't believe that you told them you felt burning and didn't do anything. Marialena, I agree with everything you said! :-) I feel very bad for stylists who have to be surrounded by those chemicals day after day too. I think chemical dyes are bad news, personally, and will never go near them again, not even at salons. ![]() I went home and immediately shampooed it out as well as I could. She left it on anyway till I physically got up and went over to the sink and made as if I was going to rinse it out myself. Even when I went to the salon (ever notice they NEVER do tests first?), it burned my scalp REALLY bad, and I kept telling the stylist, "It burns!!! Can we rinse if off please?" She said, "Oh, sometimes it feels like that when you've had coffee" (WTF? I don't even ever drink anything caffeinated!!). I stopped using home color kits because they made my scalp burn and lots of hair fall out (even after perfectly fine patch tests).
